At CoachArt, not only is any child with any chronic illness eligible for our arts and athletics programs — their siblings are too!

Childhood chronic illness is tough on the whole family, and we’ve found offering the programs to all the siblings has so many benefits.

For example, meet Jordyn (9 years old) and Jadyn (13 years old): the unstoppable sisters we’ve officially dubbed the 2022 CoachArt Dynamic Sibling Duo!

Built-in BFFs to the end, these CoachArt super students have discovered more hobbies and nurtured more talents than most of us ever do in an entire lifetime!

(And we’re totally jealous.)

Rewind: Back to the Beginning

How It Started

After COVID-19 hit, humans of all ages had a tough time adapting to “the new normal.” But for kids and teens who love to learn and play, pandemic boredom quickly became stifling.

Jordyn heard about CoachArt — and it was love at first swipe! Before long, big sister Jadyn joined the CoachArt crew too.

The rest is history… or should we say “herstory”!

How It’s Going

So much to do, never enough time to do it!

The worst thing about CoachArt? According to Jadyn, it’s wanting to do it all—but not being able to. (Sounds like the best kind of problem to have!)

When they can, these spectacular sisters take three to four classes each week. That calls for a round of applause and a standing ovation!

What Can’t These Little Ladies Do?

We’re convinced there’s nothing this talented team can’t take on!

Here’s just a handful of the skills Jordyn and Jadyn have acquired through CoachArt over the last year:

  • Drawing
  • Filmmaking
  • Origami
  • Creative Writing
  • Entomology
  • Baking
  • Macramé
  • Cardmaking
  • Yoga
  • Animation
  • Ukulele
  • Painting
  • Coding
  • Martial Arts
  • Botany

Name two better jills-of-all-trades. We’ll wait. 😄

Why We’re Fangirling Over These Girls

Add “inspire the masses” to the long, long list of what these CoachArt queens are capable of! They share a zest for life and hunger for learning that make the rest of us want to live life to the fullest.

  1. They don’t just step outside of their comfort zones, they jump. (With both feet and all the enthusiasm in the world!)
  1. No opportunity is ever left behind. Even if a lesson seems challenging or unusual, Jordyn and Jadyn have never regretted giving it a chance. In fact, they’ve always been better for it!
  1. Fun can be had no matter your circumstances! If you learn anything from this Dynamic Sibling Duo, it’s to make the most of whatever life throws your way.

From the entire CoachArt community, congrats Jordyn and Jadyn — for being such an amazing sibling duo!
